Sophomore Sadie Su'a of the SMCC softball team earned ACCAC Division II Player of the Year honors after a sensational 2026 regular season that saw her lead all conference players, regardless of division, with 95 hits, 88 runs, 28 doubles, and 74 RBIs. As a hitter, she batted .500 with a .569 on-base percentage and a .911 slugging percentage, and added four triples, 14 home runs, 30 walks, and 22 stolen bases. As a pitcher, Su'a finished the year 15-2 with six saves, 145 strikeouts, and a 2.16 ERA in 132.2 innings of work. She led all ACCAC players in saves, finished second in strikeouts, was third in ERA, and tied for fourth in wins. She went 12-1 with four saves, 111 K's, and a 1.89 ERA in 103.2 innings against ACCAC DII competition.
