The South Mountain Community College women's basketball team lost 59-25 to Glendale CC in an ACCAC Division II contest on Saturday, Jan. 17 at the SMCC Gym.
Freshman Saleen Rios led the Cougars with seven points, one short of matching her season high. She added three rebounds and a steal in 21 minutes off the bench.
Her sister, Genesis Rios, finished with six points on a pair of 3-pointers. She added a rebound and a steal in 25 minutes.
Freshman Jayden Lynch led SMCC with six assists and added eight rebounds and two steals in 36 minutes. Freshman Janelle Smith led SMCC with nine rebounds and added four points in 28 minutes off the bench.
Freshman Victoria Benito registered four points, four rebounds, four steals and an assist in 37 minutes.
