PHOENIX ---

SMCC came out firing on all cylinders, as Jemio blasted a two-run home run in the first that brought in sophomore Sadie Su'a. In the second, Blake launched her second homer of the year in left, and Su'a produced an RBI single to put SMCC ahead 4-0.

In the third, sophomore Eva Harrison hit a two-run single, and Moreno punched a two-run home run over the wall in center.

Despite SMCC's strong start, Central Arizona fought back with three runs in the fourth, one in the fifth, and five in the sixth to tie the game at 9-9.

In the bottom of the sixth, Su'a doubled with one out, and Glass drove her home with a bloop single into shallow left field. Su'a then recorded her sixth save of the year by retiring the side at the top of the seventh.
