The South Mountain Community College women's basketball team lost 109-24 to Chandler-Gilbert CC in an ACCAC Division II contest on Saturday, Feb. 7. Freshman Victoria Benito. led SMCC with seven points while freshman Saleen Rios added six points.
Benito produced four rebounds, one assist, and one steal in addition to her seven points. Rios grabbed five rebounds and a steal to go with her six points.
Freshmen Jaya Harris, Janelle Smith, and Kashari Bullard all produced six rebounds. Harris also had a steal while Smith finished with two points, a block, and an assist.
Freshman Jayden Lynch scored five points and added four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block. Freshman Genesis Rios had four points, three rebounds, and an assist.
