Sophomore Jack Meissner earned First Team All-ACCAC Division II and All-Region I Division II honors after a stellar 2026 season for the SMCC baseball team. Meissner batted .348 with 45 runs, 69 hits, seven doubles, two triples, five home runs, 64 RBIs, 21 walks, and 10 stolen bases in 60 games for the Cougars as they finished as National Runner-Up at the 2026 NJCAA DII World Series. In an elimination game against East Central CC (MS) on May 26, he drove in a season-high six RBIs and added two runs, a double, a home run, and two walks.
