Sophomore right-handed pitcher Grant Young tossed a one-hit, five-inning shutout to help lift the No. 10 SMCC baseball team to a 10-0 victory over Chandler-Gilbert CC. He fanned one and walked one over the five frames to improve to 2-0 on the season. He carries a 2.25 ERA, 23 strikeouts, and a 1.00 WHIP in 24 innings.
