Sophomore PJ Segerstrom will transfer to Sacramento State University, an NCAA Division I program in California, to continue his intercollegiate golf career after two outstanding seasons at SMCC. A 2025 NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American, Segerstrom played in seven spring tournaments in 2026. His best finish came at the Gila Monster Shootout, where he placed third at -2 (214) at Mt. Graham Golf Course. He also placed fourth at the South Mountain ACCAC Invite at -3 (139) and tied for fourth at -7 (137) at the Mesa Thunderbird Classic. He earned NJCAA Division II PING All-Central Region honors for his play. As a freshman in 2025, Segerstrom earned NJCAA Honorable Mention All-American honors after tying for 26th at the NJCAA National Championships at +15 (303).
