Sophomore GG Moreno of the SMCC softball team earned Second Team All-ACCAC Division II and All-Region I Division II honors after a stellar 2026 season for the Cougars. She batted .407 with 30 runs, 61 hits, 13 doubles, one triple, 13 home runs, 59 RBIs, and 18 walks in 59 games for the Cougars, helping them reach the 2026 NJCAA Division II World Series. She drove in a season-high five RBIs twice: at Phoenix College on Mar. 7, and at Glendale CC on April 21.
