Freshman Madilyn Hongell-Jimenez earned 2026 First Team All-ACCAC Division II honors for the SMCC women's golf team after a stellar campaign on the links. She played in seven events, leading the Cougars with a second-place finish at +25 (169) at the Estrella Mountain Invite over Mar. 22-23 at Sundance Golf Course in Buckeye, Ariz. She also led SMCC with a third-place finish at +21 (165) at the South Mountain Invitational. Hongell-Jimenez ended the year with an eighth-place finish at + 71 (355) over the four rounds at the 2026 NJCAA Region I Division II Championship from April 20-23 at Ocotillo Golf Course in Chandler, Ariz.
