NJCAA Region I Division II Tournament Information Page

Below is information on the NJCAA Region I Division II Playoffs. The tournament runs from April 30-May 2 and May 7-9.

The winner of the tournament advances to a District Championship with a berth in the NJCAA Division II World Series at stake.

Semifinal Schedule

Game One, Thursday, April 30: (4) Glendale CC at (1) South Mountain CC | SMCC Wins, 2-0 | Box Score | Recap | Photos 

Game Two, Friday, May 1: (4) Glendale CC at (1) South Mountain CC | SMCC Wins, 10-0 (5 Innings) | Box Score | Recap | Photos

(2) Scottsdale CC hosts (3) Chandler-Gilbert CC in the other Region I Division II Semifinal. Chandler-Gilbert CC defeated Scottsdale CC 3-2 and 11-3 (5 innings) to win the series. 


Championship Schedule 

Game One, Thursday, May 7: (3) Chandler-Gilbert CC at (1) South Mountain CC | SMCC Wins, 4-3

Game Two, Friday May 8: (3) Chandler-Gilbert CC at (1) South Mountain CC | 2 p.m. | SMCC Wins, 12-8

The winner of the Region I Division II Championship will travel to the winner of the Region II Champion for the 2026 West District Championships May 15-17.

Ticketing Per Day (CASH ONLY)

Adults: $10 

Kids 13-18, Seniors, MCCCD Students with ID: $7

Kids 12 & Under: Free 

There is an ATM located on the East side of the SMCC Campus, next to the Performing Arts Center and Campus Police station. 

Ticket booths will be available at the east entrance near the batting cages (the blacktop game-personnel parking lot down the right-field line) and at the west entrance near the restroom facilities located south of the SMCC Baseball Field on the access road.

Fans are encouraged to park in the south parking lot near the SMCC gym. Fans may also park in the north parking lot by the soccer fields and walk along the outfield fence to the east entrance.  

Parking on the access road that runs north-south near the restroom facility and baseball practice field is open for ADA accessibility and the general public. 

SMCC is not responsible for damage to vehicles from foul balls. 

Fans may bring in their own food and drink, seating, and shade-making devices so long as they are placed in a way that is not encumbering to other fans or student-athletes. Tobacco, alcohol, and electronic vaping devices are strictly prohibited on the SMCC campus.
