2013 Softball Summer Camp
June 10, 11, 12 8:00 am—11:00 am
Open to Everyone Ages 10 - 18
Cost $100.00 which includes a T shirt
The South Mountain Community College Summer Camp will be an all skills camp, and will include instruction on:
- Hitting
- Throwing
- Team Defense
- Infield
- Pitching
- Slapping

- Team Offense
- Outfield
- Catching
- Baserunning
- Mental Skills
- Game Situations
|
|
The camp staff will have many excellent instructors, and there will be a great staff to camper ratio to ensure a high quality level of instruction.
In order to have that ratio of campers to staff, enrollment will be limited.
Parents are welcome to watch, listen and learn!
If you want to improve all parts of your game in a positive environment and have fun, this camp is for you!

Hitting Camp Scheduled for March 17th
Limited spaces are still available for the Top Choice Sports AZ Hitting Camp being held at South Mountain on Sunday March 17th from 10:00 - 1:00.
Staff will include:
- Clint Myers, Head Coach, Arizona State,
- Jim Beitia, Former Head Coach University of Oklahoma, University of Tennessee, and National Pro Fastpitch
- Scott Woodard, Hitting Coach, Arizona State
- Katelyn Boyd, ASU All American, Player of the Year Finalist, Team USA
- Jess Donovan, ASU Assistant Coach
- Annie Lockwood, ASU All American,
- Carolina Diamonds, National Pro Fastpitch
- Brent Rincon, Former Hitting/Slapping Coach, University of Oregon
and other top local coaches.
Cost is $50.00, which includes a T shirt.
There will be a great ratio of coaches to players to ensure you will receive lots of personal attention.

Cougar Softball Home Opener on February 5th
Come out and support the 2013 SMCC Cougar Softball team when they play their ACCAC home opener on Tuesday February 5th against Phoenix College. Game times are 1:00 and 3:00 pm. Admission is free.
Pink Out Game Scheduled For February 16th
In conjunction with the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the SMCC Softball team will be having their Pink Out game on Saturday February 16th against Central Arizona College. Wear your pink and come and support the Cougars! Game times are 12:00 and 2:00 pm. Admission is free.
Softball Signs Three Student-Athletes
The SMCC Cougar Softball team has added three players to their 2013 – 2014 roster. Alexis Evans, Ally Stoltzman, and Grecia Villa all have signed their National Letter of Intent and have become part of the Cougar Softball family. Evans and Villa are both from Cibola High School in Cibola, AZ, while Stoltzman is from Mesquite High School in Gilbert, AZ.

Interested in getting better? South Mountain Community College softball program offers individual lessons. We offer a wide range of lessons from hitting, pitching, defense and agility.
