After 3 years as a Cougar, middle blocker Emma Johnson will be taking her talents to the great state of Tennessee to compete at Lambuth University.

Emma unfortunately had to redshirt for her 06' season at SMCC but came back as the lone sophomore for the 07' squad to lead the Cougars to their first double digit win total since 1997.  Emma's quick arm and powerful hitting will land her a spot as one of the Eagles top players.  Her intensity, competitiveness, and leadership will be greatly missed.  Head Cougar coach Pat Mooney is quite sad to see her go but is very proud to have her as his first representative from SMCC to compete at the next level.
