SMCC (2008/09): 3 out of his 4 tournament rounds as a Freshman were under par…finishing 25th in the Phoenix Invitational with rounds of 78 & 69….finishing 2nd at the Chandler-Gilbert Invitational with rounds of 66 & 70 both rounds including stretches of 5 birdies in a row.
Amateur Highlights: 2005 Won Junior World Qualifier…2008 Western Amateur 4th place finish with rounds of 69 & 70… Qualified for the 2008 Arizona Amateur…2009 Qualified for the AZ State Amateur and made it to the quarter finals…First Alternate for the US Amateur with rounds of 68, 68 in the qualifier.
High School: Played for Coach Ron Hansen at Prescott HS….Qualified for the state tournament and finished in 7th place in 2004 & 2005…Started on Football Team and did not play golf in 2006 & 2007.
Personal: Born 04/11/89...the son of Scot and Sande Spiewak...has one sibling-Sean. Scott is dedicated to getting a 4.0 GPA, playing in every tournament as a freshman, and helping the team compete for a Conference, Regional, and National Championship.
