Baseball Career: Joey won a state championship his senior year at Jackson H.S. in Washington. His team finished the 2006 season ranked #2 in the nation. He was the starting shortstop and was named a 1st Team All-Wesco infielder in 2006. Joey red-shirted at South Mountain CC in 2007, due to a knee injury in December of 2006.
